I would like to update a small set of symbols from time to time,
intraday, using AB's Quote Editor.
The problem is: The QE window does not open as a fully independent
sub-window (does not have its own spot on the taskbar), nor can it be
set to be "always on top".
So, it is impossible to put the focus on the QE window without
immediately pulling up the main AB window, which then supercedes
anything else that one is trying to look at. This means that one
cannot put the QE window on top of a trading screen and easily copy
data right off the screen into the QE. For me, this is a huge
drawback to the way the QE runs. I hope I'm not the only one.
If anyone else would like to have the ability to put the QE window
with the focus on top of any other window, without having AB then
"steal" the focus, please chime in.
