Nice picture to think about. Something that has caused me a bit of anxiety
in the past is the confinement or partitioning of price into bars when in
realtime the feed we have is a stream of data. This may sound ludicrous but
something tells me that the bar or candle is a step away from the true
picture and is perhaps one reason you have been bent on working with
software that can work from tick charts without data compression. What does
Research feel about that?

I have Dalton's Mind over Markets and will take another read. If memory
serves me, you created a profile tool for TS4 didn't you? Is that in the
public domain category? Have you tried coding it for TS2k? Clyde might
like to take on the task if you want.
