I've been experiencing similar problems but I don't think that DD is
responsible for most of it. I've noted that whenever I have problems
connecting to DD, my ICQ doesn't connect and my home page (my.yahoo.com)
either won't load, issues a DNS not found message, or is extremely
slow. In fact, I experienced this this morning on my first connection.
Last night, the same condtions were in effect and I couldn't connect to
DD until those problems cleared up, then my connection to DD worked
properly. More than likely, the problem with DD is the segment of the
internet that they are on. This does happen and much more frequently
lately.
