James,
I am now able to reply to your post. I have downloaded the data I needed to
analyse the stocks you mentioned. First, for the benefit of all, I am not a
professional stock trader or analyst. These recommendations are not meant to
be acted upon. Second, I am assuming the following stock symbols represent
the following companies:
GLM Global Marine
HCC HCC Ins Hldgs
IMNX Immunex
NRR did not know this company. did not analyse
NOI Noise Com
PDE did not know this company. did not analyze
Third, obviously if my price data is wrong then my opinion will be right by
accident or wrong for bad data and/or bad analysis.
Let's begin.
GLM analysis: Daily- may be ashort sometime in the coming week (this is
being written on Sat Dec. 6, 1997) but not necessarily Monday. Typically I am
looking for 5% over the next month.
Weekly- could short Monday if you wanted to
place your stop @ 37 1/8. Otherwise either wait for a while or short with
stop @ 29 5/8 which would be potentially less loss but greater risk of being
stopped out. there is some potential for the daily price to go higher than 29
5/8.
HCC analysis: Daily- Do not short on Monday. However it looks like it
will go lower eventually.
Weekly- Logical stop of 27 1/8 too far away.
Wait for retracement or until daily signal says sell.
IMNX analysis: Daily- If Monday closes lower than Friday's close then
short on Tues with stop @ 59 7/8 or 1/8 above Monday's high if it is higher
than 59 7/8. Look for 5% move then exit or tighten stop.
Weekly- Do not short.
NOI analysis: Daily- Short candidate. Probably Tues or Wed if market
is weak. Go for 5-10%. Stop @ 37 1/4.
Weekly- Not a short candidate yet.
That's it. Make of it what you will.
