Win2K / ATA 100 HD users:

Found my "fast" new hard drive was running slower than my old "slow" one 
with this free utility Mpower 1.1:

Turns out Win2K was missing a patch:

This "minor" tweak increased my HD performance 1800%...yeah, 18X.
