Don't hold your breath. There are a number of us on this list with no
intention of ever using TS2K. TS4 works just fine for now and, if an
upgrade is ever needed, it will be to a non-Omega product. Not meant as
a flame against Omega, just the facts.

If I were the Dynastore developer, I would be looking for a way to widen
the "pipe" for TS4. That's where a big piece of the sales will come from
in the future.

Wouldn't it be possible to spoof a COM port in software and lose the
kludgey 2 ports and a cable setup? It could have a huge data buffer and,
although it might get behind for a second or 2, it wouldn't lose any
data and would catch up as soon as there was a brief lull in the action.
I would also guess that the BMI box would be easier to emulate. TS needs
to talk to the Signal box to tell it what symbols to pass through. The
BMI box just passes the whole data stream to the server and the server
does the parsing. That should allow a single Dynastore/Quote.com
connection to feed several BMI servers on a LAN.
