That is my understanding, as inferred from my conversations with
DynaStore's
distributor/tech rep, Ron Dawes, who has shown himself to be the epitome
of a
responsible and responsive representative (Omega dearly needs a clone of
Ron!).

My understanding is that it would work to the degree that the TS server
could
read the higher speed. For example, although BMI apparently has twice
the speed
(38.4) than does Signal (19.2), the developers of DynaStore chose to
make their
product supportable by Signal but not BMI, and, as I understand their
position,
they don't think that the benefits received from writing an upgrade of
DynaStore
for BMI would justify the effort. Perhaps writing the program for
Signal
appeared far less complicated than writing it for BMI --- I'm sure they
had
their own good reasons.

>>> Good reasons? The reason was availability. Dmitri access to a
Signal receiver to work with and he didn't have access to a BMI box. I
can't speak to the complexity of switching over and trying to write a
BMI version but from a marketing perspective it's a matter of where the
market is going for our little niche product. We figure that EVENTUALLY
SOMEDAY, Omega will get TS2000 to a point where most people move to it
and this problem becomes moot. Our customers seem to be about evenly
split between TS4 and TS2K with a handful of Metastock. Ron
