I recently
subscribed to a live datafeed and when trying to update charts dynamically the
system would freeze and I had to reboot (Using Microsoft XP). The support people
told me to go to Start>Run>dxdiag.exe>display1 tab>disable
DirectDraw Acceleration and Direct3D Acceleration. This instantly fixed my
problem. Might be worth a try unless you are into the latest 3D intensive
games!
