Equis Product Development
This is not good.
I cancelled my upgrade from 6.52 to 7.0 eod and it appears that I was wise
to do so.
You should be aware that my Omni Trader 2000 has an icon on the Start -->
Programs menu that automatically searches and tells me if the program is
properly updated. If not, it automatically downloads and installs the
required upgrade, patch, etc.
This is a FREE service. I have received 8 or 9 patches, upgrades, etc. since
Dec. 99 when OT 2000 replaced the older versions.
Best regards
Walter

| No, Lynn, that is not good enough.
|
| Although I think it is highly unprofessional to require your customers to
pay
| to fix your errors, my bigger concern is how you expect us to discover
when a
| maintenance release has been issued (Equis's participation on this list
has
| been inconsistent) and what the release fixes (you still haven't answered
my
| question about whether the maintenance release fixes the user resource
leak in
| MS Pro).
|
| Come on. For a US$1,500 software application, I expect you, Equis, to fix
| your errors promptly and get the maintenance release to me at *your*
expense.
|
| Anybody disagree?
