Try this one:
http://quote.yahoo.com/d/ALL.csv?s=^xcd+^dji+^spx+CHV+GM+IP+&f=sl1dd1&
e=.csv
I added the d1
Per a message I posted yesterday:
Below is a string and the code definitions I've solved so far:
Historical quotes + ask if save to disk.
http://chart.yahoo.com/table.csv?s=ge&a=12&b=31&c=97&d=3&e=17&f=99&g=d
&q=q&y=0&z=ge&x=.csv
Historical quotes + Don't Ask
http://chart.yahoo.com/table.csv?s=ge&a=12&b=31&c=97&d=3&e=17&f=99&g=d
&q=q&y
Multiple Quotes + ask if save to disk.
http://quote.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s=AOL+T+CSCO&f=sl1d1t1c1ohgv&e=.cs
v
Multiple Quotes + Don't Ask
http://quote.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s=AOL+T+CSCO&f=sl1d1t1c1ohgv
/d = download
?s = symbol list follows
&f = format codes follow
format codes:
s = symbol
l = last trade time and price
l1 = last price only
d = dividend
d1 = date
t1 = time of last trade
c = price change in points & percent
c1 = price change points only
o = open price
h = high
g = low
v = volume
v1 = value
&e=.csv apparently means to as if save to disk
Multiple Quotes: Symbol, Date, Open, Hi, Low, Close, Volume
http://quote.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s=AOL+T+CSCO&f=sd1ohgl1v
Now what I'm trying to solve is how to incorporate the above http
strings into a web query that formats the results into the appropriate
columns. If you just take one of the above and make it into a web
query thusly:
WEB
1
http://quote.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s=AOL+T+CSCO&f=sd1ohgl1v
and then load the sheet thru the data/get external data/web query
menu selections the result is a csv all treated as an alfa string in
one column.
Anyone got the magic code to solve this?
