Title: Re: [amibroker] Re: Forum or Mailing List - please vote

Reliable volunteers are VERY hard to find. Brian and myself made quite an effort when we started the USK. Out of 6000 only a handful ever contributed.

The number of reasons why people don't want to participate vary widely, from very personal feelings, 'no time', insecurity, to complete silence.

Somebody mentioned that support should not be based on volunteers only. I agree, it won't work. The setup must work first of all without volunteers.

Remember too, those who have most to offer only do so when it is enjoyable. They get absolutely nothing else in return. If something doesn't work the way they like it to work, i.e., it isn't enjoyable, they leave the AmiBroker community without ever looking back. The fact is that they don't need anyone on this list; they can figure things out for themselves.
