Sorry but I don't understand. According to my knowledge messages are NOT trimmed by Yahoo.

If someone, when replying, decides to trim the past correspondence manually, it is his/her choice.

Yes we can try to re-enable. But the problem is not only about the viruses itself,
but rather about the way it is sent. A couple of attacts used spoofed e-mail addresses
and the messages appeared (at first look) to be from legitimate users of this list
including me. Only checking e-mail headers reveals that e-mail is spoofed, but
what percentage of people look in the headers? The rest is trustfully opening an e-mail
that looks like it was from me.
