Ken,
as I wrote I had the same symptoms like the user described.
Even after uninstalling Rx AmiBroker no longer was functioning as
before.
And I have written "if you have
installed the "Rx Backtest Report Analyzer"..."
I have never claimed to speak for everybody, but why
do you spread such false information?
Uenal

And here we have UM providing "customer support" for something
that heknows nothing about. Yikes. The previous messages
never mention that the user tried to or didinstall the Rx (Report
Extractor) program. So it is hard to understandwhy this piece of
"advice" is offered.Still, consistent with the idea that UM can speak
for everybody, andstill be wrong, once again he speaks harshly and
derogatorily aboutothers.I use Rx. I understand why the file
replaces the standard HTMLVIEW.EXE.I understand why it is 350KB. It
does so many different things to savethe user time in recording multiple
test reports, that is why it islarger. Plus, it flashes a message if
it has been installed and theuser is attempting to extract Results in the
standard manner.Ken-----Original Message-----From: <A

Re: [amibroker] Can't get backtesting report to functionHi,if you
have installed the "Rx Backtest Report Analyzer"then the error happens,
because that programs replacesthe HTMLVIEW.EXE of AmiBroker with its own
huge versionof size about 350 KB whereas the original is only 19
KB,Nobody knows why this file replacement is done and whatits purpose
is except the maker of that other program. So, replace the HTMLVIEW.EXE
with the original oneof AB and things should work again.I've had
the same experience once, and have informedboth the author and TJ on
this.I've removed the program.Uenal----- Original
