I would reply privately if there was a mechanism. However you admit, I
think, that you haven't read the newsletters, and there's probably 30 by
now. There are also several thousand posts at yahoo. Please don't let me
put you off but others , including me read this stuff first. I'm not a
programmer as many others also are not - though I know a little.
Please don't take it personally. I think the issue is that AmiBroker is
developing new features at breakneck pace, and the leading edge is leaving
some educational issues behind. It is afterall shareware, run essentially
by one very talented person.
Most, in fact almost everyone, are very civil. It is becoming difficult to
make pointed comments without fear or favour without a chorus of defenders
appearing so I don't say anything. However, and I've been a member since
V3.2, the newsletters started about V3.4, the yahoogroups about v3.5 and
the library of indicators v3.6, and the information overload is beginning to
become too much. I don't want to learn VB, or JS and AFL and when 10 to 20
emails turn up per day re AB - many repititous - it detracts from the
point. Making money from trading.
Tomasz - I'd like to see a tutorial. The upgraded help in v3.6 was more
akin a dictionary rather than how to extract the best from AB. The
questions that are asked reveal some of the subtlties of AB's innerworkings
that aren't in the Help. Tutorials with examples that show these subtlties
and AB capabilites and functionalities would be a godsend I'm sure.
Hopefully I'm not the only one. Comments anyone?
So you see lemanioc you've played the role of straw breaking the camels
back.
