I was told by someone I know who raised money for Neiderhoffer, he was once
profiled by a trading psychologist who deemed him to suffer from a " God
Complex". This individual tabbed him as an accident waiting to happen. Thus, he
fell victim to the most fatal mistake that truly successful traders can make -
he believed his own hype and he broke the rules on money management and
leverage. And then fell back to earth.
The market doesn't care what you think or who you are. And the only thing that
your wallet cares about is what you do. Not how you do it. Just that you do it.
Beyond that nothing else matters.
