They are worse than inept. About a year ago I noticed a problem with
Tradesatation resetting data charts during the day. Of course both DBC and
Omega said 'it's their problem, not mine". I finally tracked it down to
the DBC box sending occasional quotes with a *blank* exchange field. TS
does not handle this gracefully (to say the least :-).
I called DBC and mentioned this, and could not find anyone who knew what I
was talking about when I started talking about data fields. After enough
pestering, I finally go someone who knew what they were, and he said that
my analysis could not be the case. I sent him a copy af the actual
data field records, and he finally agreed that there was a problem.
DBC ended up stating that they would not fix it because users/vendors
should design their systems to accept such garbage without causing a
problem.
Omega says they no longer support any TS4 fixes.
So, here I am, a year later, still watching certain charts reset (loses
all data and starts over) anywhere from one to four+ times a day...
Goooooodd luck with DBC tech support.
