Hi All

Been interesting to watch the satellite fiasco this past week. I
have had BMI data for several years now and have been quite pleased. In the
Dallas area I used satellite as the cable down there was terrible. Outage due
to BMI was something like 10 minutes out of 2 years. Tech support when needed
was adequate. When I moved to DC, and knew I needed to go cable, they
immediately sent me the cable box. When I finally shut down the cable stuff
was already set to go. I just had to ship the satellite equipment back.
Other than that no charge. Cable here in DC has been perfect.

However I have agonized over whether I'd be smarter using DTN which
is supposed to be quite a bit cheaper, especially once tradestation supports
it, or should I be using a premier service like FutureSource which has been
widely touted as *the service* to use.

This satellite fiasco has really be interesting. Fortunately being
on cable I was unaffected, but comparing BMI's response which was as fast as
possible to DTN and Futuresource, it is clear to me, that I will be with BMI
for the duration. I feel bad for all the folks still without data, but for
people considering a real time vendor, this should have been very
illuminating.
