Take a backup of your computer.
Then you might get a manual for installing the Win95 and see if you can
just do a refresh and not a whole complete reinstall of Win95.
I just know that on Winnt you can. I have done this to clear up what
appeared to be a corrupted Winnt operating system. Win95 may not offer
this but I would check it out. If you can do this, then all the
environment files and registers are preserved for your installed
programs..
Might be worth looking into.
Don't forget to consider overheating, a new improved $15.00 heatsink/fan
might do the trick.
