Eddie,
I agree with all of Larry's post 110 percent based upon 5 years of
past experience with omega and ongoing participation in the very
valuable omega-list@xxxxxxxxxx
Larry also, I believe, is making the point that the omega-list, was
started and grew out of a need by omega product users to have
truthful and forthright information about the products for which the
users paid significant money for. omega had several support avenues
of their own, all of which were abandoned by the users. And now you
know why, and you have some knowledge of the situation. I
would urge you to have some private correspondence with some of the
longtime participants of the omega-list, so you can form your own
opinion, and obtain some facts.
Please be assured that the concerned owners of omega products would
be likely to take actions so as to shine the light of truth on any
such omega rose-colored advertising soapbox as in the past.
What
might that do to Realtraders image as host?
One saving grace on this whole subject is that omega is soon to be a
public company, and will enter a new era of responsibility and (ahem)
accountability when it comes to disclosures, promises, product
representations, and factual communications, as they pertain to
shareholders and customers.
omega has a website, and they have email capabilities, and this is
all that is needed to start and maintain their own forum. Let them do
it themselves and prove by their responses and actions over time that
they can win back their customer loyalty.
