Scratching chin raw with this new TS2ki mystery and another older one ...
A homemade paintbar based on Linear Regression acted normal on ER2 and
YM ... switching between the two symbols for a chart showed no odd
behavior over a day of experimenting.
Yesterday, after a change in the code from LinearRegValue to
LinearRegValueFC function (to see if the a line for another Linear
indicator would stop breaking in the current bar) it
1. (dating myself) "flipped out" and now won't come back into the
identically set ER2 chart after the "Status" button was clicked twice.
2. Will return if the symbol is changed to YM, and then go away if the
symbol is changed back to ER2 using the same tick chart.
3. Changing the symbol to Volume Bars or time-based bars or increasing
the ticks/bar sufficiently brings the indi back somewhat so that very
tall bars may show it.
4. Will show the normal paintbars when an older template with the
paintbar indicator is used for the chart.
5. All the above applies even after the custom functions are deleted
from the list of functions... in other words ... the set of indicators
and functions are returned to the state existing prior to the problem
first showing up.
Nothing was changed in the code except as mentioned above.
Returning to that comment above about another indicator's plot breaking
in realtime current bar ... what's with that? It is the Stochastic of
RSI line breaking off.
