I guess mileage differs, but I do use a little USB2.0 external laptop
HD for backups. Speed does not concern me as the backups are done
overnight anyway. But it's so nice to have all my important stuff
around (especially all my CD collection in mp3-s - but that's another
story) together in the same wallet with my Palm. I used to use dual
drives, but external USB drives are just so much nicer.
