I did it recently. Rather than scrapping my Matrox G400 dual-head AGP
card and replacing it with a quad-head AGP card for $600-$800, my
solution was to add a second dual-head card, but this one is a $115
PCI Matrox G450. This was the only PCI dual-head card I've been able
to find.

Works like a charm. See http://shopmatrox.com/usa/products/datasheet.asp?ID=279

Subject: OT: XP Multi-Monitors

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to mix AGP and PCI video cards under
XP-Pro?

I have a Nvidia NVS-280 in the AGP slot powering two Monitors -- I need to
add a 3rd Monitor, but there's only one AGP slot so the new vid-card will
need to be PCI --

Anyone know if a AGP/PCI config will work?

Any suggestions for a basic PCI Video Card?

Thanks much in advance for any insights --
