Off-Topic: Hard Drive Question

Good afternoon, folks.

I have TS2000i on a SCSI ultrawide hard drive that is getting close to 
capacity as I save ticks from the beginning of time on a quadrillion 
futures and stocks...

Besides trying to reduce the size of the globalserver, I could either buy a 
larger scsi hard drive...

OR

I could buy an external firewire/USB2 160-180 gig hard drive for $150.

Can anyone give me pros/cons regarding using a larger scsi ultrawide versus 
a firewire combo drive in this situation? I use the firwire drives already 
for backups and they are nifty little things.
