: As for the quality and integrity of Tradestation 7.x, I'm still waiting to
: hear what people think is a better solution. I've been a software expert
for
: over 10 years, and there's simply no comparison between Tradestation and
: anything else that's available. Anyone who wants to take shots at
: Tradestation should try developing their own software. It's like people
who
: criticize Microsoft and use it nonetheless. If you think that Tradestation
: is so bad, then I think you should start your own software company and
: compete against them,

I'm not a software guy. Never have been, never will be. And I say that
proudly. :-)

I'm a trading guy. Always have been, always will be. I probably forgot more
about trading than you will ever learn. Like you said, you're a software
expert.

: rather than simply whine and complain about the fact
: that they haven't delivered everything you want for $100/month.

Obviously, with the above statements shows that you're a newbie. You've
never dealt with Omega Research 's Supercharts 2.0/3.0 or TS 3.0, 3.5 or
4.0. You've never seen trading signals appear and then mysteriously appear
(due to memory leaks)...costing you real money. You've never seen systems
that look so good in backtesting perform dismally in realtime, but then show
you trades that never existed when you restart GS (or remove trades that
were there in realtime but are now gone).

And what makes you think I'm stupid enough to pay $100 per month for
software and data that exist on someone else's computer (beyond my control
and subject to manipulation by others.)?

: TradestationWorld has a forum for making product suggestions, and I'm sure
: you could eventually get a job there if you're so passionate about
improving
: the product.

Wouldn't step in that pile even if TS pay me to do so.

: Tradestation is the greatest software ever developed for people who are
: interested in custom trading and systems development software. Nothing
else
: even comes close, and everyone here knows it. Any questions?

Wealthlab comes close,so does Neotick. What about Behold for Mac users? And
Trading Recipes still has features TS hasn't even come close to matching.
bob Bolotin Power ST shows a lot of potential....if he can only finalize it,
I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I only use TS because in 1992, it was the only retail product that closely
matches what was available in some of the trading houses I used to work for.
I got used to it so I kept up with it. But my last TS version is 2ki.
