I suppose that is fair and reasonable criticism. However, I assure you that
I don't actively promote my business as an EasyLanguage developer or system
vendor. Those are not really even businesses, but hobbies for me. I haven't
sold a single system, and I don't really care if I ever do. My only reason
for adding my EasyLanguage Specialist certification to my tag line was to
demonstrate some degree of credibility to those who aren't able to see it in
my posts. I suppose I'm also kind of proud of the certification.
I've done my homework, developed thousands of lines of Easylanguage over the
last 8 years, and I know what I'm talking about. Even if that were NOT the
case, some of the more vicious attacks leveled at me and others here are
still uncalled for and simply demonstrate a lack of sophistication on the
part of the morons who post them. If people want to make a mockery of this
forum by taking cheap and dirty shots at good people, then that's their
problem, not mine.
As for the quality and integrity of Tradestation 7.x, I'm still waiting to
hear what people think is a better solution. I've been a software expert for
over 10 years, and there's simply no comparison between Tradestation and
anything else that's available. Anyone who wants to take shots at
Tradestation should try developing their own software. It's like people who
criticize Microsoft and use it nonetheless. If you think that Tradestation
is so bad, then I think you should start your own software company and
compete against them, rather than simply whine and complain about the fact
that they haven't delivered everything you want for $100/month.
TradestationWorld has a forum for making product suggestions, and I'm sure
you could eventually get a job there if you're so passionate about improving
the product.
Tradestation is the greatest software ever developed for people who are
interested in custom trading and systems development software. Nothing else
even comes close, and everyone here knows it. Any questions?
