For those who have a hardware firewall (like the LinkSys Router) and don't
want to hassle with an additional software firewall-- one alternative is
to run "SpyBot Search & Destroy" regularly -- It will find & kill

How would your Linksys help against a hidden installation that comes
unanounced with good software?

covertly installed by Turbo Tax from the 2002 CD.

Didn't know it was there until Zone Alarm notified me it was trying to call
home.
