Silly little KVM Prob - but a real PitA

I'm running two late model computers with WinXP Home and sharing with an
IOGear MiniView dual KVM switch.  Every once in a while, the computers
'lose' the Keyboard (but mouse and monitor are OK).  I can't get keyboard
life in either the A or B switch positions.

I don't know if this is an OpSys Prob where it generates a keyboard error
during a switch or a defect in the KVM switch.  It's one of those once a
week intermittent errors that are a real PitA to track down.

Anybody had the same prob and can save me some grief tracking this down.
