To All,

Thanks for the advise.

This is the direction I am leaning towards. I will be
getting a new scsi drive along with the rest of the hw. By
the way, I couldn't resist the deal from Dell, dual 2.8
xeon's, 512m, 36k scsi disk on their 1600 server box, all
for $1200.00. It runs on the 400xx front side bus, so what!
Not the latest technology, but great price.

Anyway:

1)backup using Partition Magic /DriveImage the
current C: drive to newdrive, using existing setup,

2) verify newly copied drive boots on old hardware

3) attempt a boot on new hardware using newly copied
diskdrive as C:,

I guess if it boots, finish the upgrade, if it doesn't
proceed to rebuilt a new 2000 os on the new drive.

Thanks for the help,
