About 9 months ago I got a Matrox G400 16 Mbyte dual head display from ebay for
about $80. It's great! There are loads in ebay just now, see

Note, AGP socket required.
A G450 with 32Mbytes is the current technology, but my G400 with 16Mbytes is
fine. The only limitation which may catch me in the future is that the
resolution of the 2nd monitor is limited to 1280 x 1024. I'm not sure about the
G450. Matrox though has an excellant web site. I have my system set to 2560 x
1024 spread over the two monitors.
