That sounds similar to my experience with Matrox, also in Canada. Their
warranty is worthless, as they will not honor it without an RMA number, which
can only be obtained on the phone. And only after they are convinced it's
broken, which takes at least an hour of phone time including the inevitable
30 minute plus wait on hold. I gave up after spending 70 dollars on long
distance and was told "Try the diagnostic I'm emailing you then call back,
eh.", which would've cost another 70 bucks.
