Glad you've had good results; I have to report otherwise. I went AMD last
year, but found that 2 different motherboards for AMD had BIOS problems that
made W2K and certain HDD's troublesome in multiple hard drive
configurations. There were about 6 bios upgrade releases over an 8 month
period and after 2 weeks of messing around, I gave up and went all Intel
with 815 chipset. Now, 6 mo later, its probably all better, but for the
cost difference back then I just couldn't go with my computer guy's
preference for the supposed faster performance of AMD. Intel has been
totally trouble-free for my trading hardware, the single most important
criterion for me. If it were gaming, or other internet activity, I'd
probably have stuck with AMD.
