Carl,
Thanks so much for the URL, where did you find it?
I will take me a while to reinstall my TS2Ki to try Ulrich-Wolfram Kästner's
code and see how close it comes to Bill's Investor's Dream results (I have
given up on Omega for the time being). It will be educational to see what
results come out of this much of Bill's system.
The author points out in several places that he has not implemented the total
system Bill teaches and I suspect this may lead to some of the differences
of opinion of results. To quote the author "What I don't want to do: I don't
want to implement the whole method ! Why ? Because it is not possible:
I would have to use Elliot Wave, trade divergences, make executive decisions."
One example I can share from personal experience is the way Bill
uses Elliott Wave counts to stay out of the market during a Wave 4.
I originally was ignoring the Elliott Wave, and would follow the trade signals
on into Wave 4, this is where the whipsaw would kill me. What I learned was
to stay out and wait for Wave 5 to begin.
I am in no way saying that Bill's system is for everyone, nor can I say that
it is the best for everyone. I don't believe there is such a system, all I can
say is I can relate to Bill's system and I can use it to make a return I am
happy with. I am always looking for better returns however.
