With UHF/ULF sounds you sort of can test for the sound
and for the effects. The experimental paradigm is very straight
forward.

Those alphasonics people may be using this approach as
opposed to the more common energy masked approach.

A real test is, tell them to go to see an experimental psychologist
and use their technology in masked auditory primes experiment.
If they get significance and comparable effect sizes, I will dump
my contention (and many others as well) that auditory energy
masking yields any unconscious processing of the masked
stimulus. Unless they are using UHF sounds. Data rulez !!!.

You also got to be aware that the existing laboratory studies
done on unconscious processing doesn't go as far as to say
that an entire sentence is comprehended, rather that a word
is registered.

Research of the phenomena is old, 30 years by now. However,
going from findings that a masked word is registered in the
memory stores to an entire sentence being comprehended is
quite a jump. (theoretically and empirically as I don't think anyone
has demonstrate that yet. Anybody knowing a study with
replications, let me.) As old as those binaural studies.

If you want to talk to your subconcious, pumping it with a
canned message is not the kind of treatment that respects
its capability and resources. If anything, the use of these
tapes merely reinforces an image of how difficult it is for
you to get in touch with it.
