This list, from Omega's point of view, is like every other problem - it is
ALWAYS an opportunity in disguise. This bitch/bash list could be one of the
greatest resources that Omega has in improving their product, if that was
important to them and their corporate attitude was one of wanting to
consistently improve.

The ol' "they just want to focus on the newbie market" argument is a red
herring. They could easily have both (newbie and professional) markets.
Omega could usee this list as an incredibly valuable feedback and suggestion
tool. They should be rewarding people on this list for their suggestions,
no matter how angry the tone was in which the suggestions were made.

Just think how differently you and everyone else would perceive Omega if
they not only listened, but responded to all of the comments on this list.
Imagine saying to the list that some change would be great only to find that
they reply you can now download the new build - it contains the feature you
suggested. Thank you. If you let us know your address, we'll send you a
little cash. Or even if they said - we won't change that feature because
the newbies want it and it helps us sell the product. People could accept
that - even newbies. You would not see a lot of bashing if this was Omega's
attitude. Oh, and by the way, one side benefit would be that the product
that they were selling would be an improved product.
