How about the threat of a class action lawsuit? Are there any lawyers on
this list? Wanna do some contingency fee work? Are there any unhappy
TS2Ki SP2 users in Florida who could spare the time to be the poster child
for a class action lawsuit?
It seems that lawyers have been much more effective in obtaining justice
than have threats (or incidents) of thumpings or shootings. I'm starting
to feel distinctly trodden upon ever since I "upgraded" to TS2Ki. TS4 was
working reasonably well, though it was a horrendous resource hog, but
TS2Ki even with SP2 has been just a sink of time and concentration.
Today, after I 'fixed' a problem where my charts weren't coming up (though
my quotes were) on TradeStation by exporting my portfolio data from
GlobalServer, deleting all symbols in my portfolio, deleting the
symswap.dat file, then re-importing my portfolio data into GlobalServer
(fixed that problem), I found that no data was being collected at all and
the portfolio in my Datamanager (Signal Online 4.1) data, symbol table was
empty until I brought up Signal Online's charting software, at which time
only the symbols I was watching there showed up in Datamanager's
portfolio. Signal Online charting, as usual, works just fine but doesn't
give me multi-day intraday data, and only a very limited menu of indicators.
I've upgraded my WIN98 PC to WINNT. I've upgraded my ram from 64 MB to 256
MB, I've upgraded my processor from P-100 to P-233. All of this puts me
considerably above the minimum published program requirements, but still it
doesn't work.
Has anyone gone through something similar? I still don't want to wait on
hold on long distance to try to get through to Omega tech support, so I'm
stuck with their once a day email responses and whatever clues I can pick
up here.
I've forwarded several of my tales of woe to
officeofthepresident@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx . The only response from that
address has been an autoresponder asserting that Omega lives to serve the
interests of their valued customers.
