My statement was indeed intended as a satirical jab.  I suspect it is less 
of an exaggeration than yours, though.  I can believe all the long- and 
hand-guns listed, but there are probably (much to the annoyance of the NRA) 
zoning restrictions on where you can park a tank!  If the majority of US 
citizens don't own guns, those that do must be even more nuts than I 
thought.  I've heard from several usually reliable sources (CNBC for one) 
that there are now more guns than people in the US.    Didn't I read 
somewhere that there is a county in Florida (Dade?) -- probably where Mr. 
Cruz lives :) where it is mandatory for all adults to own (and carry?) a 
handgun?  Of course, we all agree  -- guns don't kill people -- it's the 
bullets.  :)
