I use the free quote.com from time to time for certain indices (the indices are
real time).  Sometimes I can't access the data feed for extended periods of time
- particularly on busy market days.  At some point I was interested in exploring
paying for the service (and getting more stuff in real time).  I called up
customer support and asked whether the paying customers got a different feed
(i.e., one which worked all the time).  Customer support said that paying
customers got the same data feed on the indices are paying customers.  So I
stayed with what I could get for free (it was free - and worth it).  Robyn
