Hi guys
With a current furor on Y2k compliance; almost 99 % of software products are
not in compliance. Even Microsoft products ( sold & used in 5 continents )
are not accepting dates in the next century. All the major banks, wire houses
and Fed. / State govt. are not in compliance.
This a copy and paste of a popular Microsoft product (Excel) which is not
compliant.

There has been a lot of critisism of issues (paper bags , bad ticks , omega,
etc ) . Every product has limitations. I called MS for a Excel related
question ( Excel; Tools : Sub Totals ) . I asked them a few questions on
this isuue. Their answer was ... it cant be done.... it's a product
limitation. I finally had to do it in MS (Access) .
Whenever I call Omega, customer supp; Easy lang. etc. they have been prompt
and diligent.
Whenever I call Microsoft , they have been good too.
Lets stop talking about bad, missing ticks. Many times its the price reporter
on the many pits who's inputting data ( the lowest paid employees on the
exchange & the turnover is high).
Omega has given us a work around the limitations. Lets use it.
Lets work with what we have. & have fun at it too.
For the last two weeks we had a lot of fun with brown paper bags, a few months
ago ( it was the UPS boat) etc. Lets get serious. As Al Bundy (Married with
Children says ) "Lets rock".
