Not much.....so far. I've been running TS4 without the
morning update for well over 3 months and have experienced
no anomalies.
Anyway now that I think about it, it =may= not be necessary
to forego running the morning update entirely. All that may
be required is to uncheck the box entitled "Delete expired
futures contracts" (and/or "Delete expired options"). As a
result, I just turned =on= the morning update with those
boxes unchecked and will see what happens.
My experience has been different than that reported by
another member WRT collecting data, however. I haven't been
able to =save= data for Euros expiring subsequent to 1999
although I do get RT quotes. So really, turning off the
morning update (or perhaps unchecking those boxes)
apparently just keeps the symbol active in the portfolio so
users can pull up quotes.
