For all those considering adding com ports, make sure that you have 
unassigned  interrupts. I have three com ports, a sound card and a SCSI 
controller and all my interrupts have been assigned.

FWIW, the TurboExpress can use 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 12 or 15.
