I've been having the exact same problem with system crashes related to
windows/temp/rms files. When I run DiskMinder (the Helix Nuts & Bolts disk
utility), it states that the size of the afflicted temp files (usually it is
two files) does not match the size allocated to them. Omega technical
support didn't have an answer. I've tried leaving the news server turned
off, clearing the Internet Explorer cache and history files regularly, and
deleting windows temp files regularly: no help. I've been unable to figure
out what is creating the files or why they cause crashes. I pretty much only
run TradeStation and Internet Explorer 4.0 . I leave the server on 24 hours
a day, five days a week. PLEASE let me know if you do find an answer, I'll
do the same. Thanks in advance.
