I've used this with TS, and currently have it enabled on a secondary
machine (not the TS one). I've heard a lot of negative stuff about
this, but I haven't found it to be too bad. It doesn't eliminate
general hangs, though (the kind I tend to get), mostly because when the
sucker freezes up, you can't open the thing up anyway. I've got PC
Medic as well, and they are pretty similar, but neither can handle this
problem. Are these worth the money? I suppose that depends on the
state of your machine. Generally, though, I'd say probably not,
although they aren't that expensive, so you don't have that much to
lose. One advantage of PC Medic is that you can get it bundled with
McAfee's latest virus detection software, which is pretty much the best
there is. It also has a better database, and is a bit more user
friendly.

On a related point, is there anyone else out there who has gone through
complete system hangs (Win 95), and when they power it off (obviously,
without exiting properly), and run scandisk, they invariably run into
corrupted data in several windows/temp/~rmsXXXX files? This really has
me stumped, and it's not getting any better. Any advice here would
definitely be appreciated.

A.J.
