Don't look for a needle in a haystack.
In the MetaStock jargon the LinearRegression line is not an
indicator. This tool belongs to the line studies family and you can
easily find it in the "Working with line studies" chapter in the
Helpmenu.
The LinearRegression line is drawn on a chart by either selecting the
desired button on the appropriate drawing toolbar - Channel group in
this case- or by choosing the Linear Regression from the InsertMenu.
The corresponding icon shows a four bars chart crossed by a ascending
trendline.
