Hello Andrew,
After I forced Data Server to close, then reopened, things went back to normal.
I noticed the problem about 9:25 am ET. The only files I have that collect data
before 9:30 are SP, ES, ND, NQ, US, TY, DJ, and some currencies. Beginning at
9:30 I collect data on *many* more symbols than I just indicated. So my hang
came at a time when data normally is coming in at a relatively light pace. The
hang may indeed be related to Data Server but I am not certain as to why it
would have hung at that particular time, given that data should only have been a
fraction of what comes in after 9:30. I guess I'll see what happens today
during RTH.
Thanks for sharing your observations.
