Below are the results of our weekly "Guess the Dow" sentiment
survey. The survey was taken from 3/1 through 3/7 on the
Lowrisk.com web site.
Number of participants: 462
30 day outlook:
56% bullish, 24% last week
29% bearish, 51% last week
16% neutral, 24% last week
(percentages may not sum to 100 due to rounding)
Median guess for the DJIA closing value on Friday, 3/12: 108382 (it
was 10695 last week). More complete sentiment data is available at

Bullish sentiment jumped last week, rising 32% to end at 56%.
Bearish sentiment dropped 22%. This large increase in bullishness is
especially surprising given the weakness in the stock market - the
DJIA fell almost 300 points. This large jump in bullishness in the
face of a declining market makes us wonder if the bulls aren't
getting ahead of themselves a little bit...
