The book that you recommended finally arrived.

Much easier to read than I expected.

I see that KyPlot has separate headings under "Statistics" for Parametric
and Non-Parametric models. So rather than springing for the $10K for PRW,
I'll take the slow boat and use all the free software that I can find along
the way.

The chapters on Classification and on Estimation were very enlightening.
Especially the ability to turn classification problems into estimation
problems.

Thanks for recommending it.

I've been going through some of your old posts and will write later.
