<DIV><FONT size=2>I'm not day trading right now. When I do I use
Signal and don't have any problems. I also live in their
backyard. I mainly day trade the futures.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>As to Signal/MS, my gripe was that
Signal (EOD) did not alway list the correct opening price on a
security. This meant there could be a 0 or an opening price from
n-days ago. This meant you could get an opening price well out of the
daily range until you got a valid opening price. This was causing the
system tester to barf.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2>Signal said what you see is what you
get. It is up to MS to handle the data presented.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Equis said it was a problem with the data being presented,
they were just reading what was there.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Signals solution was to clear the Signal db each night and
unplug the unit so it would start fresh each day.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Equis solution was to not use opening prices in the
security prices.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>I offered to write an enhancement for MS to fix the
opening prices but got no response.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Writing the program for myself but it involves exporting
the data to test files. I refuse to pay for MS interface hooks to fix
a problem with their program.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>I'm not day trading right now. When I do I use
Signal and don't have any problems. I also live in their
backyard. I mainly day trade the futures.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>As to Signal/MS, my gripe was that
Signal (EOD) did not alway list the correct opening price on a
security. This meant there could be a 0 or an opening price from
n-days ago. This meant you could get an opening price well out of the
daily range until you got a valid opening price. This was causing the
system tester to barf.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2>Signal said what you see is what you
get. It is up to MS to handle the data presented.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Equis said it was a problem with the data being presented,
they were just reading what was there.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Signals solution was to clear the Signal db each night and
unplug the unit so it would start fresh each day.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Equis solution was to not use opening prices in the
security prices.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>I offered to write an enhancement for MS to fix the
opening prices but got no response.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Writing the program for myself but it involves exporting
the data to test files. I refuse to pay for MS interface hooks to fix
a problem with their program.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>P.S. Nice web site - made me want to grab my skis and the
dog and hit the hill. Always have a great time in
Jackson.</FONT></DIV>
