I do indeed use the Chalkin oscillator. You might also look at the Market
Facilitation Index. It accomplishes similar things to Chalkins oscillator. I
believe it is more important to find an indicator you are comfortable with
and stick to it than being able to pick the one Holy Grail indicator.

I always like to see a rising Chalkin oscillator if I am contemplating going
long a stock. Makes me feel others are as dumb as me if it subsequently goes
down. At least I wasn't alone in my decision.
