Dennis,
When you are in the middle of drawing (i.e while you are keeping left mouse
button pressed down), the refresh for this particular chart is held as long
as you keep the mouse button. That is normal and helps drawing because
constant refreshes would make extensive flickering.
But once you release the mouse button it should start refreshing again.
