Maybe the tabs could be made dockable. i.e. you can drag a tab to your second monitor and it would be come a separate window.

For single-monitor users it sounds good but

some people (including me) are using multiple-monitor setups and may want to see two or more separate editor windows

and then single window with tabs is a limitation not enhancement.

hi,

wouldn't it be more convenient if the Formula editor would only open 1 window and that each new file you open is added with an additional TAB (just like Textpad does)?

Then you can quickly see which files are open and one can switch from one to the other file easily. Now you can quickly get lost with all these windows open,
